Salmon Burgers

Makes 4 patties — Use tuna for a tasty alternative

Ingredients

  • 2 tins (170g) salmon or tuna, drained

  • 1⁄3 cup (80 ml) celery, finely chopped

  • 1⁄3 cup (80 ml) relish

  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1 cup (250 ml) gluten-free breadcrumbs

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Canola oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.

  2. Shape into 4 patties.

  3. In a non-stick pan, heat about 2 tablespoons of oil. Cook patties until both sides are golden brown – about 3 minutes per side.
